Julie Black, age 63, of South Beloit, passed away on Friday March 14, 2025 at her residence. She was born on April 4, 1961 in Rockford, IL to John and Doris Jean (Popejoy) Cabrera. In September 1986, she married Tim Black, with whom she shared 38 years of marriage.
Julie had a deep passion for animals and was a generous supporter of various charities.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Black; her brothers Kirby (Brenda) Cabrera and Steve (Denise) Cabrera; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, as well as her sisters; Pam Cabrera and Alicia (Tish) Meyer; and her brother Brent Cabrera.
Cremation Rites to be Accorded. McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel assisted the family.
