Gregory L. Bedford of Rockford departed this earthly life March 13, 2025. He was born October 31, 1951 in Rockford IL the son of Clyde and Theresa Bedford. Gregory married the former Felicia Glass, October 3, 2004 in Rockford. He was employed as a custodian by the Rockford Board of Education 36 years before retiring. Gregory was a member of, Love of Christ Ministries, serving as a ordained Deacon. He attended West High School.
Gregory leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife, Felicia Bedford; two daughters, Rachael ( Michael) Williams and Dietta Bedford; five grandchildren, Sharica, Shakeem, Brayden, Joshua and Kaleb; stepson, Cyrano Glass and his children, Mariah and Angela; two sisters, Donna and Debra Bedford; and brother Clyde Bedford; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends including special nephew who he raised, Timothy Glass. He was predeceased by his parents; Clyde Bedford and Theressa Green; and brother, Mark Bedford.
