SOUTH BELOIT, IL – Randy Alan Powell, age 48, of South Beloit passed away peacefully Sunday March 16, 2025. Born in Rockford on August 4, 1976 to Marjorie Joyce Trader. An avid gamer, Randy enjoyed playing and competing with friends playing Dungeons & Dragons on X-Box, many of which he gamed with for over 30 years. He loved all things comics; collecting, trading and drawing his own, as well as painting miniature comic figures and collectibles. Beloved father, brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.
He is survived by daughters, Athena Powell and Sophia Zigomalas; siblings, Arthur Scot Kinney, Thomas Joseph Kinney, Kevin C.
